Member of staff behind till was incredibly impatient and rude. We were being slightly indecisive as we had never visited before but his reaction was disproportionate. If it was busy, I could possibly excuse his frustrations but there was one other customer. Gin, however, was delicious. Date visited is 10/08/2022.

Two rude women working in the gin shop. They write fake reviews on here to boost their poor rating.

Sunday afternoon No complaints at all , sun is out , nice large Blackberry Gin and Fever Tree Tonic in front of the Bandstand ... great rendition of 'Run' by the brass band. Pleasant drinking area and both girls were polite and professional... can't ask for anymore... Pop along and enjoy !!

A beautiful bar with the best views of the park. Super friendly and attentive staff. We were lucky enough to try their pink gin which was delicious. Our 3 children enjoyed their choices of soft drinks and our pup loved her 'beerscuit'! I would highly recommend this gin garden bar to anyone who wants a relaxed, welcoming yet stylist vibe for a G&T

Gotta be honest, this was not a good place to have lunch. If they'd just been honest and said "listen, this is mainly a place for drinking gin. If you're looking to have a snack you'd best go elsewhere.", it would have saved us a lot of time. Instead we asked about food and they proudly gestured toward their 'tapas' menu, which as it turned out by and large consisted of extortinately-priced unopened packets of crisps and pork scratchings, but given profoundly misleading fancy names that even under the absolute most favourable interpretation still had a highly tenuous connection to the culinary item they supposedly referred to. To make matters worse our outlet for being able to gossip amongst ourselves about the amusingly shoddy quality of the 'tapas' was inhibited by the staff who stood right near our table seemingly half-glaring at us as though daring us to say something uncomplementary about the food whilst they were still in earshot. One of the girls had bought a giant baguette-style sandwich from somewhere like Morrisons, and stood out in the open munching it right in front of us whilst staring in our general direction. Frankly, it looked a lot more appetising. Also, they didn't serve coffee, apparently they said because both of the cafes either side of them did which meant they weren't allowed for some reason.
