        Visited as a large group of 30 for the afternoon tea. Very well looked after, attentive and friendly staff, very knowledgable on the tea variations. My only criticism is that the sandwiches and scones are not refillable (London afternoon teas often are). The FREE FROM scones were crumbly, rock hard and not great, as well as the free from selection of cakes. If you can just about tolerate dairy - and are not allergic - I would take lactose pills and go for the regular afternoon tea. Also no dairy free cream offered for the scones?!? Just jam, which I found to be strange. Beautiful decor, a lovely day out overall. Halal sandwiches too

        Did not meet the expectations. Spa facilities were good, but overall quality and service were poor. - Room smelled of sewer - Hole in the back of the bathrobe - Charged extra for a desert while already paid for a set menu including desert Emailed the hotel about this experience 2 weeks ago and never received a response. Edit: Hotel did now respond in-depth, which is appreciated so upped the score by 1 star.
