The Old Post Office, Buxton

We are two couples, and we stayed in Apartment 2 for four nights. Everything was beautifully appointed and spotless. When we return to Buxton, we will stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended. Were it possible, I would deduct a fraction of a star for the parking. The space is very tight, and if you are nervous with reversing in a confined space, beware. Apart from that, simply marvellous.

A really nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and very well-equipped apartment, ideally placed for the town attractions and easy to get out into the wider Peak District. Warm and cosy with lots of appliances to make it a restful stay. WiFi worked well. Parking space is handy for unloading and not having to worry about where to park but the access is not for a large car or faint-hearted drivers as it is narrow and difficult to turn around. The windows are single-glazed, presumably as it is listed, so traffic noise can be a slight issue in bedroom two if you're not used to it. However the views are great and we enjoyed people-watching from above. There are lots of parks, shops and restaurants nearby and no shortage of takeaways. Definitely recommend for a family holiday.
