Wow it's nearly 50 years since I was last in this church getting baptised, fortunately when my friend and I visited, I did not burst into flames as I crossed the threshold. This is the first time since the pandemic that I have visited the churchyard to say hi to my family that have been inhabiting the soil for decades/centuries and the church has been open, so it was great to go inside. The architecture is fantastic, so many memorials to the Nevilles and the Neville Grenvilles as well as the memorials to Admiral Hood who's monument stands proud on Street Hill overlooking Compton Dundon.
