I've always had lovely customer service at this farm shop/post office. Lots if parking. Lovely selection of local produce and we'll stocked shelves. All you could want from a village shop

I popped in here while house hunting in Baltonsborough and the proprietor not only gave me a warm welcome but also gave me invaluable information about the farm shop for which I am most grateful. I was sad to learn that a lack of regular decent sized shop purchases makes shops like this run at a loss and people get in their cars and drive to the nearest town or shop online. Everybody likes the idea of a local shop but they end up only a few buying a paper and a pint of milk on the odd occasion. Running a post office is also costly and this village would not get any more funding. We'd hoped to buy in the village and the house we fell in love with is not available. However we are still keen to live here and thought we cod get involved with the community. I'm not sure if a suitable house will come up a fain but we will be watching closely. And we wish the proprietor of the shop all the best and hope he will be able to find a solution as it would make sense that he runs the new purposely built premises. In the meantime we will wait for a house to come up. If any Balti people want to sell a 3 bed plus lawned garden were looking. lo
