The Three Crowns

A tale of two meals A delicious duck wrap, tasty and packed with duck. Burger and chips. The burger was overcooked, very dry with dry bacon also overcooked. Both meals had chunky chips which were good, unfortunately both meals included red coleslaw which had a bitter taste.

We had sweetcorn fritters, duck spring rolls, kids sausages &chips, chicken &panchetta pie, cheese& bacon burger. Sweetcorn fritters are tiny & only 3 so not worth the price Duck spring rolls were fried to death Kids sausage was good size portion but again sausage fried to death Pie had lots of meat in but sauce was very cheesy and mash was dangerous hot. One of those where its basically stew with a hat. What little pastry their was was nice. Cheese and bacon burger was dry. The cheese was like a sauce and so strong it really spoiled the burgers Lovely little garden and a good range of drinks. It used to do excellent food but this is the second time we have left feeling it was just ok and not great. Its edible but unfortunately we wont be going back. The price is too expensive for mediocrity at best
