Visited Mattys bakery and it was lovely! Great ambience with a bunch of different treats. 2 gluten free sweet treats available. Sadly no gluten free bread or savoury option, so couldnt have any lunch :( but went with my family who had bagels and grilled sandwiches and said they were yummy!

Mattys is a little bit of taste bud galore heaven! I dont know what my favourite even is! Maybe the raspberry brownie which is moist. My very favourite is the egg bagel - practically Perfect. Recommend 100%%

If I could give this place 0 I would. I went in for a bagel and asked for egg with salad and pinged to bagels in the counter. They asked me to wait as fresh was being made and so I paid for that and a m&m cookie while I waited. After a few minutes I was handed the bagel with no salad and asked them to put it in as thats what I ordered. they then argued that they only sell egg and onion. I confirmed I asked with salad and they went back to put it in only for someone else to come back out and say the owner wont allow them and its not what they do. They tried to hand me the sandwich and I suggested its not what I ordered and if I knew it was just egg I wouldnt of ordered it as the sandwiches I saw in the counter all had salad. I was told this is just for tuna and they cant put it in so I offered to pay extra and they refused because all items had to be listed on what is sold. I pointed out the egg sandwich didnt have a label nor did the cookie bar and so rather than take my offer to pay 1 for salad as an extra they offered me a refund. I took the refund and left and ate across the road in a much nicer place. Very strange customer service.

Fresh bakery, good coffee, ambient environment to sit and enjoy a cuppa and read the paper. A bit on the pricey side, but independent shops need to survive.
