Bury Conservatives

No were near as good as Bury Labour and I found the people to be very conservative in their views.

I was slightly nervous on my first visit, but I soon relaxed being with like minded really nice people. Was actually fun. Relaxing brew whilst helping local candidates. I have offered to go back every week subject to my business commitments. Its open to anyone, really.

I have to question the bad review as that did worry me at first as Im not a confident person. I contacted the reviewer for their reasons and have had no reply. I decided to bite the bullet and went with my husband one afternoon. Wow. What a lovely group of people. Really. We shared the same views of helping people achieve if they wanted to but also helping those less fortunate. I felt Id found similar minded kindred spirits. It was relaxed and fun. Joining the local conservatives was the best thing Ive done in a long long time as I feel I am really helping people and really making a difference. It may be true that on the day I only folded some letters and put them into envelopes, but it felt much more. I helped get the message out there and met some lovely people. I have decided to help out most weeks from now on and cant wait for the elections as its really exciting. Rosemary
