Hollie Flynn Makeup Studio

I booked an appointment for my prom makeup to be done with Phoebe. Over around 2 months nothing was being communicated with me, she took the deposit, then a week before prom proceeded to tell me she couldnt do the time I needed due to pre-existing appointments. This has placed me in a difficult situation as It was left too late to book elsewhere. This was ridiculous as I had booked it with her from the 16th june (just after restrictions had been moved to the 19th july) and she had plenty of time to tell me that she couldnt complete the appointment. Furthermore, Phoebe declined to give me my deposit of 25 back. She said to me it was non-refundable but I had not cancelled the appointment/received services so surely I am entitled to receiving my money back. A deposit is used to make sure the MUA does not get ripped off and is placed at a financial loss but seen as I have not even received the service, along with a lot of unprofessionalism and very slow replies over social media, I would like my money back.

Posting as ashleigh trickett (daisy grace makeup) (my email wont let me leave a review) I don't usually leave reviews but I just wanted to say that hollie has been an absolute pleasure to learn from, so humble and welcoming, from when I booked with her she was helpful, told me what I would learn and what I needed, she was so professional in terms of her service, she messaged the morning of my appointment to let me know I could rebook if I couldn't make the lesson because of the bad weather that day, the lesson was amazing, so surreal learning from her she listeneded to everything that I wanted to learn and even after my lesson she still supports me and really believed in my ideas for my business, she gave me the confidence I needed to believe in my abilities and I have come on in leaps and bounds, I can't believe what I could achieve but she did and I can not thank her enough for that, so thank you xxx

I went to Hollie for a make up 1:1 lesson last week and what can I say the girl is amazing!!! She is such a good teacher she is so patient and answered questions and helped me in the areas I was struggling with, also giving me advice along the way, she made me feel so welcome, her studio is amazing and very clean, she went out of her way to help me capture images of the work I had produced, I just could not fault anything - just amazing, I already want to book another, would definitely recommend xx
