Fightback4Justice (Advocacy For Disabled People CIC)

In 2019 I returned my review forms for PIP, and on the 02/3/2023 I finally had my assessment with an Health professional. During the period September 2019 to March 2023 I sought advice from the fightback team regarding the PIP review process. The advice I received from them was appreciated. I'm happy to say that the review process is now over and the DWP decision maker has extended my PIP award to March 2027. I would like to thank all the fightback team in particular Haley and Michelle who made me aware of the issues that might arise and guided me through the process. Absolutely brilliant service and cant thank the team enough for all of their advice and help. Had to appeal after my MR was turned down. Fightback had done my MR form for me and the appeal. Worth the payments for the form filling, as it took away a huge amount of stress from me. Very helpful ladies with advice on gathering evidence. I couldnt have gotten through this without their help and support. I won my appeal without it going all the way to a tribunal, which Im sure wouldnt have happened without this amazing team! Im so grateful to Fightback4Justice for all their help , in recent months, with telephone support , multiple emails and for checking my medical evidence for my PIP review . I suffer with several severe mental health issues as well as a couple of neurological disorders which make life , every day, very challenging.They told me what medical evidence I should send through to DWP , ( DWP had told me unhelpfully, several times, it wasnt needed , and as a result a paper based assessment wasnt possible at the early stage sadly. ) and we paid extra for the vip service so that letters etc could be checked to see if there was enough detail . This took away a lot of uncertainty. The entire process this time around , however , for my review was horribly challenging , and extended to 18 months , with almost every aspect and stage of it, being incorrectly done ( by DWP and IAS ( the assessors ) ). My mental and physical health took a massive hit from the problems which culminated in my being offered a face to face assessment instead of the requested paper based assessment and this brought me very close to ending my life. Ive missed out a few details but am delighted to say that with the diligent input of several of the staff at Fightback , and their liaising with IAS manager , it was finally possible to get a paper based assessment done for me, with just a few phone questions to my mental health practitioner for missing details , and , within the last few days Ive had a phone call from DWP to let us know that the PIP has been agreed . Fightback manager michelle worked especially hard on my behalf to achieve this by liaison with the IAS manager chris. I highly recommend them, at all levels of the pip process , they will assist with your initial form filling for all different disabilities ( which i sadly missed out on as only found out about them afterwards) , through to acquiring medical evidence , through the mandatory reconsideration and appeal if needed. Its worth paying for membership as you also get access to numerous well filled applications and much more. Thank you Fightback for helping you are so appreciated.

thank you again ladies for your help put in a coc only a couple of weeks back and got you to fill my pip form again worked like charm and found out that id gone from standerd to enhanced a couple of days back and got it til 2027 ive always used fb and highy recommend them to anyone there be couple of things coming to you next week of your amazon list keep up the good work your amazing all of you
