Please do not use this firm!!!!!!!!! They lack both professionalism and competence in the highest degree. My aunt was taken into a care home in Prestwich in 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic. Russell and Russell dealt with all the legal side of the residents there. When my aunt passed away in January of 2021 , I contacted Russell and Russell in Bury and instructed them to not only file for probate but to also transfer all the utility bills to my account so I could pay any outstanding bills at the termination of the utilities. I was asked by the solicitors that as my aunt had insufficient funds to cover the funeral costs would I do that, which I did. Over the next year I rang Russell and Russell over a dozen times and emailed numerous times to find out if they had dealt with probate and sorted out the termination of utilities and final billing. I did not receive one single phone call back and emails were generally from the secretary of the solicitor saying she would get the solicitor to contact me shortly. This rarely happened. In the end I had no choice but to bring in another firm of solicitors in Manchester who have dealt with both filing for probate and cancelling some of the utilities that were still active!! I cannot emphasize enough to people to avoid this firm of solicitors in Bury. Reading other reviews from the same firm in the same location then a complete overhaul of their staff and practices needs to happen .

The receptionist was lovely and helpful. They were very patient with us as we arrived at closing time as I had come from Leicester on a train, with the journey taking forever due to cancelled trains, and delays, then no tram working. They did exactly what we were asking for and more. Excellent.

I really went to look at the trains on East Lancashire railways but this area is still open for business
