SPAR Walmersley

So many Spars in Bury, especially the ones in petrol stations, have terrible reviews. This Spar standalone is fantastic! Not only is the shop clean and tidy. The staff are so nice and helpful. Big thumbs up from me 5*.

Never used the shop facilities but would like to say thank you again for the honest lady who was on tonight. The lady behind the counter tonight was handed my phone what I had dropped and got it back to me. Thank you to the customers who also handed it in :) Nice to still see honest people.

Very helpful and friendly staff make for a pleasant local convenience store. They sell newspapers, magazines, greeting cards along with groceries, lottery and they also provide PayPoint. The fresh produce is limited, but fresh bread is delivered daily. Cashback is available, which is handy. Hot pies are available which is a rare treat. The drinks selection is extensive, both chilled and room temperature. They also stock bottled real ale which is great for a local shop. There is on-street parking outside the shop, and a wheelchair accessible entrance. I hope you have found this review helpful.
