DO NOT purchase a warranty from "Momentum Warranties" the seller recommends. It useless and waste of your hard-earned cash. We have recently purchased Vauxhall Vectra, understanding it's quite an old car and some works might be necessary. It still had 9 months MOT left, however we took the car to authorised car service for proper check and re-test (two weeks after the purchase). IT FAILED because of brakes. Brake disc and pads required replacement as well as brake calipers. We have a warranty from Momentum Warranties and it says it covers Brake caliper replacement. However upon speaking to their advisor I found out its "wear and tear" and they won't pay for the repair! After checking the reviews from trustpilot I found out its basically a scam. They use "wear and tear" excuse for everything and won't pay a single penny. Clutch? Wear and tear. Engine? Wear and tear. Gearbox? Wear and tear. Now we have to cover a 400 repair ourselves. I don't like leaving bad reviews however I do feel it's not fair and honest from the Manchester Vehicles to recommend to their clients something that is a scam and waste of their money.
