Nurseplus Bury St Edmunds

I have worked for nurse plus for nearly 4 years on and off! Couldnt recommend this agency enough! I find the office staff so helpful! Polite! Being part of the nurse plus family is amazing! Thank you to all the office staff :)

The office and Mark ignore your emails and texts when it isn't something that benefits them. They are rude and aren't empathetic when it comes to people who get ill...even if it's just a cold! I was sarcasticly mocked when I said I wasn't coming in because of a cold. They expect you to work when you are unwell, they don't care about mental health, physical health or the staff at all. It isn't just me, I spoke to many Nurseplus workers and they all said the same. I used to do nightshifts, and they would ring me and other staff members early in the morning just to ask a question which could easily be texted, as they know we would be sleeping. I told them I wasn't feeling great and I was taking time off, I said I would message when I felt better. They still the next day after rang and texted asking if I could do a shift-no. They have no respect for their staff, we are just a number in their payroll. I felt bullied and very scared to call in sick when I was ill. I was very unhappy and my family refused to let me work for them anymore. So if you ever get ill or have mental health and are thinking about applying-dont.

I worked previously as a support worker for Nurse plus for well over a year, I couldn't have wished for a better company to work for. I always had work whenever I wanted it. The office staff were always helpful over the phone whenever I called about shifts. I now work in the office as a recruitment consultant which I thoroughly enjoy really lovely company to work for.
