        Shambles of a Council, run by robots ticking bureaucratic boxes with absolutely 0 human touch to their approach. Avoid for business, leisure, and pretty much anything.

        My husband and I were married by bury st eds registrar. All staff were helpful and informative and made it so easy to submit paperwork etc and were quick to respond when I emailed with an enquiry. The registrar who performed our ceremony was also really lovely and friendly. Registrar services are carried out at the Athenaeum on the other side of Angel Hill, not in the council building. Much prettier than other local registrar offices
