THIS COMPANY TRIES TO CON PEOPLE! A very nice man came to see our property. He seemed very professional but spent just 5 minutes in one room of our house and told me that Propotec could not do the required work and suggested I get a builder in. Less than a week later I received a bill for 120, a 'survey inspection fee', despite the fact that on their own contact page it clearly states "Free surveys including report for treatments and associated building works" - At no point during any communication was a 'fee' mentioned. Needless to say we will not be paying the invoice and will be reporting this scam action to Trading Standards - DO NOT CALL PROPOTEC!

We had our grade 2 listed cottage infestation and damp proof treated 18 years ago. After 11 years some signs appeared of new infestation. Propotec attended without question and repeated the treatment in 3 areas of the cottage. We have had 2 other occasions since. We thought we might have a new problem and on both occasions the company have revisited us and we have been reassured by their expertise. We have recommended them to others over the years and would continue to do so, Service: Water damage-related pest control

This rip off company lost me the sale to my flat! Quoted our proposed buyer over 13k to fix a rising damp problem. I subsequently got another quote from a well established company for 5.1k. A huge difference for essentially the same work thats also covered by a 30 year guarantee! I gave the company an opportunity to explain why their quote was so high but so far nothing. They only responded to my email after I said Id take it to review sites/ social media. Chancers that will try and rip you off! Seriously if you get a quote from this company please please look elsewhere
