I couldn't recommend this care home enough! All the staff are amazing and go above and beyond caring for my dad! I have never seen him so happy and settled in a long time. Knowing that he is cared for and treated with respect means everything to us! Thank you to the old Vicarage, especially the team in the meadows!

As an ex employee I would not recommend putting your loved ones in here, it is not staffed correctly especially at night to meet the residents needs. Management are not approachable and would come in in a morning time and never once ask how the residents have been or how the shift has been, I have recently handed my notice in and she was not interested in the slightest she never once tried to find out what my issues were and when I approached her to discuss them she did not want to listen and told me where the door is and to go work somewhere else and the same applies for anyone else who isnt happy there. We was told to do 8pm walk around and document what is found and when I did this and gave my findings to management there was a text sent out saying she is not getting involved in petty things between days and nights. You can never get in touch with management when on a shift because they do not answer the phone or when they turn up next day even ask what you rung for. The day I put my notice in by the night time I had seen a status on Facebook of current employees recruiting for staff when this should of come from the company first and because it received negative comments the whole night staff was than slated all over Facebook and bringing personal information into that no one should know. The next day I was phoned by management and bullied into leaving immediately and was told if I dont I will be suspended and this would not look good on my record and will effect me getting another job i verbally agreed to leave but never gave anything in writing and when I decided to take the suspension I was not allowed and told someone was listening to my phone call which I was not made aware at the start of the call and did not consent to this. I tried to get in touch with HR they said its down to management I then expressed my other concerns to HR and I have still not heard anything nearly 2 weeks later. Bad management they have caused a divide within the home and letting staff push other staff out. They have also gone against residents wishes and had them in the lounge when they do not want to be I told the night unit manager about this a 100times and still nothing was done about this. I have worked here for over 2 years and this is the worst management the place has ever had they do not care or respect the residents.
