I could not be happier with how our wedding photos have turned out. David has an incredible talent and captured our day perfectly. The photos are so beautiful and I will treasure them forever. David made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. He managed to be subtle yet present and did not miss a moment.

It was a total joy and privilege to have David as the photographer at our wedding. He perfectly captured the day from start to finish, including the smallest (but still very important and special) details, expressions on the faces of our guests at key moments throughout the day and, most importantly, the feel and ambience of our wedding. It was a crisp December day with frost and blue skies - looking at the photos we remember perfectly the beautiful countryside surrounding us and how we both felt! We really loved having the opportunity to get to know David first with an engagement shoot. This meant we were much more relaxed in front of the camera on the day itself, as well a giving us some lovely photos of the spot where we got engaged. It goes without saying that David's photos are stunning, but most importantly to us, he was very unobtrusive and discreet. We wanted everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and not take up too much time having photos taken - in fact we hardly even noticed any photos were being taken at all. We will cherish these forever and are incredibly grateful to the huge talent that is David Wheeler. Thank you!

If anyone is reading this review and wondering whether to hire David as their wedding (or other occasion!) photographer: definitely do it! We are so glad we managed to hire David as our wedding photographer. The photos are amazing and we have received so much feedback to say they are among the best wedding photos our guests have seen. David somehow managed to capture so many different angles, locations, parts of the day, guests, close ups, long shots and couple photographs without ever being flustered or pushy. We had seen his work and were aware of his accolades before hiring him, but honestly the photos were even better than we could have imagined. He is also an absolute dream to have there on the day - so friendly, funny and able to put everyone at ease. Wish we could have him as our personal photographer for all occasions! We recommend David without any reservations or critiques. Thanks so much to David for everything.

We came across David's portfolio by chance and immediately knew that he was what we were looking for as our photographer. From all the calming conversations and quick responses before our big day, to the professionalism and attention to detail with our photos, we are so thrilled we chose David. He has captured all the emotions throughout the day so well, not just ours but that of our guests and every time we look through the photos - be it the first time or with our friends and families, they bring smiles to our faces and we are filled with the same happiness and joy we felt on the day. Thank you David again for your beautiful work, it was a pleasure having you as our photographs on our big day and we can't recommend you enough to other couples who will be lucky to have you as their wedding photographer. Embarrassingly am only just remembering to write this but David was our - amazing - photographer at our wedding in 2019. We were introduced and massively impressed by him at a family member's wedding. And when we saw the photos from their wedding we knew we had to get him for ours! David is personable, friendly and really cares about you enjoying your day as well as capturing it on camera. He put us and our guests at ease the whole day, allowing him to capture the entire day and organise people and us with a lovely manner and never ever feeling intrusive. His photos are equally fantastic and he got a range of natural shots of us and our guests, scenic ones of the venue and countryside location, as well as excellent couple and group shots - plus a few arty ones of the venue. Could not recommend more.
