Shelley is a fantastic hypnobirthing teacher. Shelley's passion for the subject oozes from her and gets you all excited for birthing your bubba. I could not recommend her enough. I used the breathing techniques throughout my whole birthing process which helped me stay calm and in control and I know this was 100% due to Shelleys course. Absolutely from my husband and I.

Just wonderful. If youre thinking of booking classes with Shelley, go for it! We came away full of knowledge and excitement for our arrival. Shelley just instantly felt like a friend, it really helped for us to open up about our fears and I feel because of this we were able to take so much more away from our course. Even after our baby was born, Shelley kept in contact to wish us well and see how we were getting on our new crazy journey Our birth wasnt our plan A or probably even our B but we we were so empowered from the classes that I still think of everything so positively.

Shelley at the empowering birth school is amazing! If you are looking for support, advice and to overall feel more positive and confident about your upcoming birth then do attend one of her courses. We went from feeling apprehensive to feeling positive, empowered about what we wanted, and full of birth prep knowledge. For us this led to a calm labour that we felt in control of. Any questions we had Shelley was happy to answer and she also gave us support along the way until our baby was born. Highly recommend x

The course has been brilliant. I was really anxious about giving birth and having the opportunity to do a 1-2-1 course thats more private was absolutely the right thing. I felt that Shelly really tailored the course to my needs and my partner enjoyed it too. I feel that now he is a lot more knowledgeable about his role and it was a great thing to do to prepare us as parents.

I couldnt recommend Shelley at The Empowering Birth School more highly. I was a more complex client having had a previous c section due to baby being breech, anxieties due to 6 previous missed miss carriages, diabetes, strep b, sciatica and pelvic girdle pain! but nothing phased her, she went above and beyond doing further research after our sessions in order to provide me with an abundance of additional information specifically for my circumstances. My self and my (slightly awkward husband!) were fully comfortable in our sessions with Shelley, she is so friendly, passionate and knowledgeable and makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble. She really listens and gets to know you so that the sessions are truly meaningful for you and your pregnancy as an individual. My birth ended up in C-section but I used so much of what I learnt from Shelley in the time leading up to going into hospital resulting in feeling calm and relaxed going into my induction and used the techniques for the entirety of my Labour before my husband used them to keep me calm as we went for the section. It really is the best birth preparation. Thank you!
