Staff and food great but room tiny. Was meant to be 2 bedrooms but folding doors did not shutand if they did a chair was in the way.. No room to swing a cat with 3 of us in room, so much furniture. Duvet on big bed not right size for bed and way too thick for summer. Single bed had no matress protector, poor quality matress. Room very tired, strange pictures of Battle of Waterloo on the wall. Too many nick nacks and nowhere to put stuff. Grounds scruffy lots of bramble. Pool is a plunge pool not a swi ming pool. Altogether over priced! Good things,very near Christchurch and Avon beach.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Cedar house over 2 weeks ago!! It was a hot weekend so the outdoor pool was fab to sit and sunbathe by. It was big enough for a little swim and most welcome! The breakfast was great and the staff so kind and thoughtful. Chris & Maggie were fantastic hosts. We just loved our room , pavilion room no 5 so so lovely.. decor so nice, big en-suite bathroom.. and the room was bathed in sunshine in the evening.. The B&B is so close to gorgeous beaches and the local area. We really had a most wonderful stay.. cant understand the unkind reviews. We would definitely want to return.
