Solmar Villas Ltd

Unfortunately we had a v.bad experience with a villa managed by Solmar & whats worse is absolutely no customer satisfaction afterwards

We booked a Villa last year with Solmar ( Vila Ros Petit in Puerto de Pollensa) .Their website states that all their villas are chosen specifically to a high standard. I have attached just a few photos of the villa that they rented to us. They don't believe that this villa is substandard. We would never have chosen the villa had these been the photos shown. They did offer us another villa, but again, one I wouldn't have chosen as it wasn't suitable for our family and not in an area we wanted to stay. We felt we had no option but to stay where we were as there were no other properties available. Solmar have refused any compensation except a few hundred euros which wasn't for the state of the villa, but for the fact that said villa hadn't even been cleaned or prepared for us and that we had to sit outside for 2 hours with all our bags and shopping whilst this was rectified. I can assure you the photos on their website were lovely. We booked through airbnb but after our complaints we were unable to leave a review on Airbnb and then the listing disappeared. We felt very let down and I wouldn't recommend Solmar . I have no doubt for those of you who have had lovely villas that you would rent again. It's when things aren't good that a company and how they deal with it really show their true colours.

Wouldnt use anyone else. Great experience and amazing holiday. Villa was perfect. Easy to contact and cant do enough for you. Perfect company after the disaster we had with Villa Plus.
