This is my go to place, it's also my local. Friendly staff, big beer garden and a family orientated pub. Food is fantastic would highly recommend. Great service by all the team

Visited Saturday 29/4 for a meal. We ordered food at 5.45pm and it arrived a little over an hour later, if we'd of been told there was an hour wait on food we would have gone elsewhere having a hungry 10 year old with us! Then when the food did finally arrive the pizza was over cooked and very dry with the tiniest little bit of cheese on it. The pulled pork mac n cheese came out without the pulled pork and the children's tomato pasta was for over 5's but wouldn't have filled a 2 year old. They do offer dishes for children with a larger appetite but my son is a vegetarian and the only veggie option was chilli which he won't eat. It was very rowdy and not somewhere I'd recommend to go for a nice family meal. We left feeling very disappointed to say the least.

Went this evening for a family meal, for 6. Arrived at 7.00 it was quite busy but managed to get a table. The manageress, assumably served our drinks and wasnt exactly warm and welcoming. We put in our food order roughlt around 7.30- 7.45. As we were 2 families of 3 we ordered separately but at the same time and for the same table. 3 meals came out fairly quickly, but the other 3 meals didnt come out for over an hour after the first meals. At this point the pub was a lot quieter than when we first arrived. We were told that the other food was being plated up, and that they were bust with a buffet for a function upstairs. However it was a further 15 minutes before the food arrived. The service was absolutely shocking, a young waitress was slamming menus on the table and slamming chairs back under the table. Absolutely dreadful service and would not return nor recommend to anyone.
