Things have gone from good, to bad, then to worse. I've had two problems in the last three weeks. First was a Signed For 1st class letter that vanished. Royal Mail din't recognise the tracking number and (as far as anyone can tell) it never left the Post Office. I went in to ask if anyone could look for it. The lady I spoke to didn't care and didn't want to help. Firstly she claimed the proof of posting meant they didn't have it (it actually means they did have it) and then that it's impossible for anything to be their fault and everything gets send every day and I should go away and file a claim. Second problem was the simple act of paying in two cheques. I needed a Santander deposit envelope because I had run out. The Gentleman behind the counter spoke so little English that he couldn't understand what I was asking for. There was no one else in the Post Office for either of use to speak to and in the end I left without paying in the cheques. My review from a few months ago said: Staff seem nice enough but you can tell that there has been a change of ownership. It's gone from business like, clean and tidy to messy, dirty and cluttered. There are random items for sale on almost every flat surface (including the floor). The previously clean photocopier by the door is now filthy and covered in dust and I don't think anyone has bothered cleaning the place since the change of ownership. It's a great shame because Newhall Post Office had a lot of goodwill in the community and at the current rate the new management are going to squander that rapidly.

Its got worse not better . Under new management. Its horrid. Chololate on the floor and bleach on the floor where Children could get it! Smells, dirty and most of my parcels sent from this Post office have all been broken when previously they were not. I hate it.
