Honestly the guy who is usually behind the shop counter is a perpetually bored, unfriendly and miserable sod who needs to learn basic customer service skills, as well as how to smile. You would have thought he suffers from some awful gastronomical cramps by observing his sour expression.

A good little post office with caf. Has the usual post office services and also sells drinks & snacks. Cards & gifts.

It is such a shame, that after the village won to keep the post office open, the owners over time, have become bored and disinterested in the post office side of the business. This is evident by the lack of interaction and general manners of the owners, who see customers as more of an inconvenience, unless you are elderly and use the coffee shop. I now use the post office in Rosliston road, where you get service with a smile. If I could put 0 stars I would.
