22 years ago, the hairdresser asked me what I wanted to do when I grow up. When I said I wanted to be an astronaut, he said it was not likely to happen. I said well maybe a scientist, he said it's the same kind of thing. So, being autistic, I listened to him, I never tried, had no goal from then on. I got lost, followed some basic things I was good at, with no goal in mind, thinking I'd find something OK... Web Design, IT, Game Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, 3D/CGI etc., but it went nowhere and contributed nothing, and I went there by accident, and figured it out at 28. I am now, at 32 years of age, again aiming again to be an astronaut, and I hope to see how close I get, and will. Studying Robotic, Electric, and Aerospace Engineering in my own time despite the lack of money for education, and building myself towards being the most useful person I could be in space. It might not even be unrealistic, but regardless I'll end up doing something I love. I'm 4 years in to my 18 years may have been lost, but I'm giving it my all since I realised I should. Don't ever tell anybody they can't achieve possible goals. I left 5 stars because there's probably different people here now, so I don't want to hurt their ratings. Life could have been so different.
