Looked after so well from the time I arrived till I was discharged. Special shout out to Abi on the BHEAL who was beautiful inside and out. Also thank you to the wonderfully amusing anaesthesist who calmed my fears , and of course the 'hands of God' surgeon, Mr. Sahota who performed my surgery. On arrival on ward 30, all the staff were so attentive and caring towards me, from housekeeping up. Onto discharge lounge where the lovely nurse and discharge officer ensured that I got home safely in a taxi, as my daughter was going to be later than anticipated to collect me, and they wanted me home safe and well. I have not one negative thing to say, and believe me I have had some bad experiences in Birmingham hospitals. This has brought back my confidence in one of the greatest institutions in the world. My gratitude to you all.

  • Gastroscopy experience was good. I was stressing out as its my first time, but the nurses and doctors were more than supportive, friendly and efficient the unit, the rooms were so clean, disinfected constantly, overall I was so impressed. Thank you for giving a proper help!

I was turned away 4 times while in mental health crisis over 1 year. I have been mis diagnosed making my mental health worse with all the different medication they keep putting me on. Also after 3 years I finally get a diagnosis and I am told to look at you tube for advice on my diagnosis as the Dr is on holiday for 7 weeks. I feel suicidal and I no longer trust the nhs
