Fantastic community asset for adults and children - my son always needs to be tempted out after the end of our session after playing in whichever areas hes chosen that day. There are zones but theyre not strictly enforced so if you want a cat from the vets in your circus lineup go for it! This does mean that sometimes it feels a bit chaotic as some previous commenters have said but I find that a plus when it comes to playing with small kids - if things are too regimented its harder to get stuck in, and also if you have more than one child with you one can play with the construction toys while the other role plays being a doctor and you can be playing with them both without having to make one swap activity. Obviously its polite to tidy up after yourself though not everyone does and Emma does a great job keeping a lid on things while simultaneously being around the entrance to sign people in. Emmas ingenuity and child-centred approach is clear in every part of the site. A truly imagination-stimulating activity which has a 100% success rate with every child Ive taken.

The Role Play Village in Swadlincote is such a fantastic place to take small children and babies for safe play. It has lots of different activities such as role play, singing groups, messy play and seasonal/holiday related activities, there really is something for everyone. Emma is extremely patient, kind and fun. My daughter is excited when she knows we're going that day! Booking online is very easy with lots of slots to suit your routine, there are drinks/snacks and toilet facilities available. There is free parking at the rear of the building with only a one/two minute walk to the venue. This is a fantastic small business that strives for a place where kids can learn, engage, socialise and play.
