We were really pleased to have found this gem of a little holiday cottage company and used them twice for the same property in the dales. Nothing is too much trouble for Joanne and Nadine and their portfolio of properties are well priced. We have fallen in love with this area of the UK and would not hesitate to use Country Hideaways as our first port of call for a property booking.

On arrival cottage cold as heating had been turned off and visitors unable to access it to turn it on. Fridge had also been unplugged. Owner contacted us and sorted heating. We stayed here around 5 years ago and felt that the property is now a little tired and in need of some tlc. Cleaning could also have been better. Light switches dirty, cobwebs hung from ceilings and banister and angel hair from Xmas still hung from curtain track in lounge. Welcome pack consisted of 4 biscuits, a few tea and coffee bags, sugar but no milk. Not Country Hideaways usual high standard. Have used Country Hideaways several times in the past and would highly recommend but would not book this particular property again as they have others which are far better
