Have just had a week's stay in Minnie's cottage which is located in a nice quiet road in Burton Bradstock and a short walk from the beach near the Hive Cafe. The cottage was fine for us, but it is quite small and 4 people would certainly find it cosy! The cottage is adequately furnished but missing some key simple items such as clothes hanging space in the double bedroom and a king sized bed which would have made it more comfortable! Theres no dedicated parking, although parking on the road is possible nearby. We had a problem with the hot water whilst we stayed, which, whilst it didn't prevent us from using the shower, was not completely resolved. Given the abundance of holiday cottages in Burton Bradstock this place could probably benefit from a little more professional management

We had a fantastic June break. So relaxing and we did a bit more exploring around the area. We visited Mapperton House to wander round the beautiful garden and eat in the splendid cafe there. While there we also walked the jubilee trail - a 3 mile loop from the car park. So peaceful. We explored the footpaths inland and enjoyed a picnic near the church at Shipton Gorge. Minnies cottage is so comfortable, with everything you need provided. The garden is very pretty and we loved sitting out listening to the bees and the many birds that visit. Were looking forward to visiting again soon.

We have just returned from a weekend at Minnie's Cottage, this was our 2nd visit and certainly won't be our last. I was surprised to read the previous review, we were a party of 4 and Minnie's was certainly adequate for our needs. Surely the definition of a cottage is "cosy"? Although we were unlucky with the weather it did not detract from our enjoyment and Burton Bradstock has the added attraction of two really good Pubs and some wonderful scenery. We really appreciated the extra efforts being made to ensure our visit was as safe as it could be and felt completely comfortable and secure throughout our stay.
