Had a mini digger come (from a company related to these guys) to prepare ground works for a new driveway. Nice chap and did a great job. Apps Grab Hire did the muck away, which was all well and good. The digger driver suggested I get recycled type 1 crushed concrete from Apps Grab Hire as a cheaper alternative to limestone or other types of stone... I spoke to the supplier to confirm it was good quality stuff. I was wary, so I double and triple checked that it did not come with any soil or organic stuff. I even said I was happy to pay more IF the quality of the crushed concrete wasn't good enough! The guy sounded genuine and confirmed the quality was good, so I ordered 12t. Today was delivery day... and what they tried to deliver was soil/clay/organics/rubbish with some 70mm chunks thrown in. When I spoke to the supplier, he was rude and told me not to call again... If you're using these guys for anything other than muck away, think very carefully because the quality is nothing like they say it is. Delivery driver even had the cheek to ask me if I'd pay for the diesel?! Service: Construction debris removal
