Weidman Glass

Very helpful and a fantastic repair done to my lead glass cupboard door and, reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit if your into glass, jewellery orniments etc.

We met Caroline Weidman many years ago. We initially commissioned her to design, create and install a new stained glass window in the door of our Victorian house. When we moved in the door just had frosted panes of glass in it so wasn't in keeping. Caroline did a fantastic job and we loved it. In fact, when we moved from that house to an Edwardian house we had the same issue - a door with frosted glass! We contacted Caroline again and commissioned another stained glass installation. Because we liked the original design so much we had a variation on it created for a our new house. I have attached a photo of it. Caroline's glass sculptures of ballet dancers are remarkable. And her selection of Christmas glass decorations made by hand are amazing. Check out her website to see the breadth and quality of her work.

Was a pleasure to meet Caroline today at her workshop. After seeing the stunning reusable glass straws we had to go in to buy one. I was blown away by the stunning figures and jewellery inside and will definitely be going back to purchase some. Caroline was so welcoming, and happy to talk about her work with us.

Such a fabulous experience. I booked the cutting course first which was invaluable and am so proud of my traditional lead picture. Caroline has so much knowledge and experience which she generously shares. Exhausting both mentally and physically, but I am so proud of my achievement, and looking forward to more glass work with Caroline Weidman.

About 50 years ago, my mother bought me a glass ornament. It has great sentimental value. Unfortunately, I dropped it and it broke into about 6 pieces. I had little hope that anything could be done to save it. However, the gifted Caroline worked her magic and returned the piece to me as if it was brand new!! All the glass pieces in Caroline's shop are beautiful. There is something for everyone. I will definitely be enrolling in some of her classes too.
