Dave Carter Photography

Dave's photos speak for themselves, but he is a very nice bloke to boot. He had lots of patience and was very good with my young son. We have ended up with some really lovely photos, and memories of a lovely family morning out in the forest with him. I will certainly ask him to take more as my son grows older. Thank you Dave.

We asked Dave to come and take photographs of our function band LeFunk! playing a wedding at the Devonshire Dome in Buxton. My name is also Dave Carter and incredibly there was also a third Dave Carter there, so at one point Dave took a picture of all three of us together! Anyway, in the past we'd continually tried and failed to get good concert photographs that we could use for agency listings. Low light is a massive problem for these type of shots and it requires a lot of skill and experience, as well as a lot of versatile (and expensive!) professional equipment to do a good job. Dave took some stunning pictures that managed to capture the atmosphere of the event, and we now have a whole set of agency portfolio pictures. Dave's a lovely guy too - taking a calm measured approach to his dealings with people and the job itself. He got right in amongst the action but was never intrusive. Highly recommended.
