After moving into our house a year later we were still at a loss how we could improve our garden. It is small and on two levels and like many people I struggle to visualise what designs will look like. David listened to our requests and incorporated all of them into his amazing design. We are thrilled with the result, how he managed to get two lovely seating areas into our tiny garden I'll never know but it feels like we have two separate gardens now. His assistant Rachel kept in contact to ensure everything was going well and the landscaper's Sean and Mandy were fantastic! They worked tirelessly through the heatwave of 2022. Their work is of a very high standard and they were respectful of property and our privacy. Can't thank them enough and highly recommend this fabulous company. Having moved house in 2018 we spent the first two years trying to work out how to tackle our moderately sized, sloped and dated garden. We wanted to make it fit for purpose and a space where we could spend time relaxing and enjoying the wonderful village scenery around us. We eventually came to the conclusion that we needed professional help and invited a number of "so called" garden designers to our home to see what they advised. After their visits it was quite clear that they did not have any practical solutions to addressing our brief, which was evident by their unimaginative suggestions and outlandish quotes. Fortunately further research into highly recommended garden designers helped us to find David from "Up the Garden Path", he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic from the start and when he attended our home he listened to all of our wishes and concerns and instantly provided lots of ideas and solutions. We opted for a full garden design, and via zoom and personal meetings we quite quickly came up with an overall garden design which fully addressed our overall brief. However, I must admit that during the design process there were a number of ideas which David presented to us that completely took us out of our comfort zone, but due to his experience and vision we acquiesced (after all......there is no point in seeking out a professional garden designer if you aren't prepared to take their advice) and we are so pleased we did. In October 2022 (due to COVID) work eventually started on our garden and the professional landscapers that attended (Gary and Tom) were exceptional, they grafted in all weather conditions and Gary's attention to detail was second to none. At the completion of the project we were left with an outstandingly beautiful garden which is better than anything we could have hoped for. At all stages during the process David and his office (Rachel) were always on hand, providing invaluable support and ordering materials / plants as required. We would highly recommend David "Up the Garden Path" for anyone who is seeking an honest, reliable and experienced garden design team of professionals. Thank you for our wonderful garden !!

It was great to have the opportunity to meet with David and to work with him on putting together a plan which, once executed, will transform and make best use of our relatively small garden. His excellent ideas were perfect for us and when we reconvened in order for David to talk us through what he had put together, we were absolutely delighted and didn't want to make even the slightest change. We would therefore have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending David to anyone seeking a good quality, value for money garden plan and the chance to share ideas with such an honest, down to earth and hard working individual. Finally, Rachel continuously managed expectations in relation to timescales, with her strong attention to detail making the whole experience flow. This helped to build trust and to her credit every part of the process was delivered exactly when promised. Thank you both!
