I got a taxi from outside subway after a night out, and they picked someone else up at the same time, total stranger to me. Then I had to stop to get money and stated that I wanted to go to 'Ainslie street' in burnley first. He took me all the way to nelson and then when I told him again that I wanted to go to ainslie street, he told me he thought I said 'england street', which doesn't exist in either burnley or nelson, which either means he ignored me and carried on to nelson, or the language barrier cost me extra money. The only reason this is 2 star is because the driver was kind enough to let me off a little with the charge back to burnley, but it still cost me 18 to essentially travel 2 miles. The driver was very apologetic and was very thankful for being calm, but it is important to pay attention to the customer you're serving, if you're unsure about something, just ask them. And if there was a language barrier that hindered his service, train your staff, there's nothing wrong with training your staff to learn the primary language of the country they work in, it's better for the business as well.
