I booked this cab firm and asked for a pet friendly taxi as I have a staffy as I got them last time and they accepted pets in their cars then the can turned up on Lockyer ave then when I was going to get in the cab the driver said no no sorry no dogs allowed at all so I will NOT BE USING THIS CAB FIRM EVER AGAIN MAX TAXIS ARE RUBBISH.

If you book a taxi for a set time and they confirm it, that just means they plan on picking you up when theyre next available, the time you set seems to be irrelevant to them and they will not let you know if theyre going to be 40+ minutes late

Would give zero stars if I could!! I will never ever ever be using this taxi firm again. Pre-booked an airport pick up from Manchester airport, told them when we were boarding and gave them our flight details - they took an hour and 20 minutes to come and get us!!!! Kept ringing the main office to be lied to! 10 minutes away 25 minutes away. The driver who turned up was so rude, didnt help up us with our bags and has a threatening attitude. I then asked for a drop off at my house, as they were 1 hour and 20 minutes late, meaning I no longer had a lift home from my friends house.. he then wanted paying an extra 5.50, started shouting at me and threatened to lock me in his taxi and take me to Nelson where he lives. Absolutely vile human!!!!! He started recording me for some weird reason as well shocking shocking service. I will never ever ever use this company again, and certainly will not be recommending to anyone!! How they are still going is beyond me?! The taxi pick up cost 116 altogether. You expect to be picked up on time, not threatened or lied to. It would have been cheaper to drive to the airport and leave the car there for 3 nights!! We will be taking this further and complaining, as they made us pre-pay for the taxi before picking us up. (We also booked a big taxi, and they only sent a small car, so overcharged us anyway!) Probably because they are so late all the time and people refused to pay!! Rude staff, shocking company - stay far away!!!!!!!!!!!
