Rooms: Beautiful ,clean and a fantastically comfortable bed in room 5 ... cannot wait yo stay again . Food & drinks: Cocktails are wonderful , and a beautifully fresh cooked English breakfast.

This is the most friendly and comfortable hotel I have stayed at for ages. I do a lot of travelling for business and usualy use chain hotels. My train was late so I arrived after 11.00pm and they had stayed up to welcome me. The room was really beautiful and bed comfortable. My breakfast was served exactly to my specification within minutes of me sitting down and there were so many extras provided like fresh milk for tea and filter coffee in my room and being asked "is everything ok" in a friendly meaningful way that I felt I was at a top end hotel. To top it all the price was lower than I would have paid in a mechanical souless chain hotel. Cannot recommend The Lawrence Hotel enough.

Wow!!! Absolutely perfect, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing, the food is fabulous, the room was lovely and clean, the bed was large and comfortable but the main thing for us was how accommodating they are for dog's! We opted for the date night and with that you got a 2 course delicious meal, and a full English breakfast. We got the dog's chicken and rice for their dinner and then at breakfast they got a sausage each...honestly cant praise this hotel enough.
