I would steer clear of MHD and especially Steve Cheetham, he is a arrogant and rude man. I paid for a damp report to be carried out and there was no photos, damp readings or plan of where the damp was, just a templated report with a price to fix it. I even had to go as far as to report him to the PCA due to the manor in what he spoke to me, and it appears I am not the only one who has raised concerns about his company.

Steve CHEETHAM (Director) should hang his head in shame. Rude, insincere and appalling attitude towards customers. Was called "an absolute disgrace" and refused contractor services because I contacted the surveyor directly to discuss the specialist report (after Steven dodged all my perfectly valid questions). Despite paying for a specialist damp & timber report, there were zero photos to evidence or reference the timber issues, nor any readings documented from the Protimeter. After speaking with the surveyor they clarified all the points raised initially without issue and also confirmed photos WERE taken and he would send them via Manor House Developments NW. I called them to discuss the job and was met with arrogance and attitude by Steve. Extremely disappointing because I was intending to hire them for work but not after this. Their other staff (Janine and Jayne) on the other hand are absolutely lovely and faultless in their customer service so a strong recommendation that Steve stays away the front end of the business.

Could I also just say how punctual, polite and professional the team was, they were fantastic and I am really happy with the works carried out. I wont hesitate to recommend Manor House Developments to anyone needing building services. I will also be in touch when Im ready to sell to see if your estate agency is as good as your builders!
