Used this business to install new heating system at a buy to let property. Paid them 1,100 upfront. They ripped up floor boards when installing pipes but didnt put them back so had to pay to get these repaired. After a few months hiatus between them installing boiler and coming back to finish off pipework and radiators at my request, they were asked by my joiner to remove the old bath given it had been damaged by one of the tradespeople throwing the ripped up floorboards in. However they didnt seal off the pipe after removing the bath. The next day the joiner and his mate turned on the water stop tap causing flooding in the bathroom resulting in more expense to myself to repair the ceiling given neither parties admitted responsibility. The heating engineer then refused to continue working on the property to finish job whilst joiner was there. I had already paid invoice for materials but they never delivered the towel rail radiator or thermostat nor contributed to paying for the flooding damage to the ceiling or ripped of floorboards despite chasing. Hence avoid given the issues above and poor quality workmanship that was also highlighted by the gas safety inspection. Will get contracts drawn up next time and copies of their insurance cover incase of eventualities like this before they commence work. 19/03/23 - update to the owners response. He was paid 1100 for materials yet there was not 1100 worth of materials delivered and didnt deliver all the pipework, thermostat and towel rail radiator that I paid for and have since had to buy separately. Why would I pay for labour when you didnt finish the job, went awol, it was your actions that resulted in flooding at my property and ripped up floorboards without putting them back. A bunch of unprofessional cowboys. Hence avoid. Service: Heating system installation
