They found me one job, due to start the Monday following the weekend. Informed on the Friday.
Massive car crash at the weekend, hospital for 4 days. They just wouldn't accept it.
"You let us down. You didn't tell us as soon as it happened"
Yes, let me just drop all the A+E and intensive care, pain medication, totalled car etc etc so I can get on the blower immediately.
Emailed them as soon as I could. No reply.
Haven't called me once.. despite the fact I kept trying and went to re-register each time they told me to and parking in Burnley is a nightmare.
Then.....no calls.
Also they keep hiring for a company that asks for "trial" workers, constantly and have done so for a few years now. Have they really not found a few decent workers yet?
Or is the agency knowingly facilitating a company that wants to chew through VERY temporary staff when a rush comes through, under false promise of a long term job if you graft, with absolutely no intention of following through with it?
