Im very happy with my experience at Phoenix Archery. Knowledgable, trustworthy and friendly staff. I would recommend this shop for newcomers to the sport. Two shooting ranges on site to try your new equipment. Good times.

I was recommended to Mark via sone one else who purchased from him online and wasnt disappointed in the slightest - he helped me with all measurements, bow, draw and was even spot on with poundage as I was apprehensive with a 30lb - hes a real gent, brimming with knowledge and a great guy. I bought a Samick sage and the Avalon arrows which he cut to size for me - the bow as a first bow is awesome and the arrows are amazing - with accessorise - dont be fooled by the cheap bundles that come with the sage bow - the 3 part quiver , glove and wrist guard were just the job too - thoroughly recommend this shop - makes over the phone easy and pain free when there isnt a shop near you - Cheers

I called on the Friday and spoke with Mark for some time. There was no rush and that gave me some food for thought as far as draw weight. I visited the store the next day with intention of taking a sixty pound Mathews bow brand new. However after a good long chat I left with a used but excellent bow three times cheaper and a big smile on my face. I shall be returning for lessons and have every intention of becoming a member of tue club. This is a real one stop shop. Mark is totally focussed on customer service which is essential in such a sport/hobby. He is a resource that I would recommend as it will save a lot of tears and regret when you avoid buying equipment you just cant use or the wrong equipment altogether and possibly damaging what you have or yourself. Cant say enough good things about this shop and its owner. Update. I had a derailment in my bow and needed some arrows. I called Mark and he reassured me that there shouldn't be any permanent damage. He said to come up to him and he would rerail the bow and check it over. I took the bow in and he sorted everything out. Repaired the d loop and made sure all was well. I asked about some arrows and he had some secondhand full carbon ones that were really nice. Fantastic price but two had no fletchings. I asked if he could refletch these and one of the other guys did an expert job. I asked how much and there was no charge except for the a stuff I bought. Mark is such a good guy and he really gives amazing service along with a lot of gratis time and skill of his own which is more valuable to his customers than he probably realises. His shop reminds me of the ones I see in the US. Looking forward to getting some coaching. I wont buy anything from anyone else.
