Working at Buildakit showed me the attention to detail that can be delivered in construction when a company is organised and well run. Nothing is missed in the workshop to ensure that buildings are delivered exactly as designed. As someone who has now retrained as a Passivhaus consultant since working here, I now appreciate even more what a fantastic job Buildakit are doing. To of successfully delivered homes to Passivhaus standards shows they are one of the the best timber frame building providers around. Personally, I think prefabricated panels are the future and are key to reducing the performance gap in buildings to help tackle climate change and the energy crisis, and I couldn't think of a better local company to use for a project than Buildakit. Alongside the high build quality at Buildakit, Bill, Nicole and the rest of the team are a pleasure to work with and offer great customer service and value for money. I hope to work with them again in the future!

Buildakit have given us at Green Building Store excellent service for our next PassivHaus project here in Huddersfield. This will be our first off-site timber frame project, a departure from our usual masonry cavity wall construction. We are about to start on site this month after unforeseen delays of several months. Bill, Nicole and Chris have been very understanding which we're exceedingly grateful for. They have been very responsive and helpful in helping us achieve the necessary level of design to achieve PH certification standard, in this case by Heating Load rather than Heating Demand due to lack of solar gain. We will be blogging as usual during progress on site. I have recommended Bill and the Buildakit team to several other self build clients we been PH consultants for.
