        Did go must weeks. Great food, friendly and good prices. Sorry it's been closed a few years now. Anyone know if and when it will open again.

        This is our second visit, the ale is great, the food however not so, this place is definitely only worth a visit during a last resort life and death situation, like a holocaust, food heaters are too hot so burnt my hand on the serving ladle, food is very basic and Burnt.... UPDATE: Having being told the carvery had stopped we decided to make another visit, pies were fantastic, fish and chips ok but nothing special... EXCELLENT STAFF clearly trying their best to make this a great establishment, impressed with the effort but still lots of room for improvement.
