Tudor Lodge

My grandmother was a resident at Tudor Lodge for a number of years and she received excellent care. I highly recommend it. The staff were very caring, the food was really good, there were lots of great activities and she was looked after really well.

My mother spent her last 3 years at Tudor Lodge and during that time she received the most excellent care and professionalism from all members of staff. I was happy in the knowledge that she was safe, happy and well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. It is a wonderful Home, very comfortable and homely with an excellent variation of well-balanced meals. Entertainment and activities are provided every day in the lounge for the enjoyment of residents. Congratulations to all members of staff who kept all residents safe and well during the Coronavirus, a very difficult time when the shut-down was announced. Staff worked so hard to keep residents happy during this terrible time and it was never any trouble to provide families the opportunity to face-time residents to enable them to keep in touch when not able to make personal visits. I cannot recommend Tudor Lodge highly enough to anyone wishing to find a first-class Home for their loved ones.

Our Dad was a resident at Tudor Lodge 18 months. When looking at care homes we felt it had the right feel to it, well run and homely. Dad quickly settled into life there, enjoying the many and varied activities on offer. He had a lovely room with some of his own furniture making it feel personal to him. Dad was treated with kindness and compassion by all staff and we were happy in the knowledge that he was safe, cared for professionally, well-fed and warm. The level of care he received was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is a happy one, visiting Dad, we were always welcomed with a friendly smile and the offer of a cuppa. Communication is excellent and families are kept updated with regular emails and newsletters. They adapted to deal with the pandemic facilitating outside visits and video calls for us to see and speak to Dad. We are glad that we chose Tudor Lodge for Dad and we would recommend them to families looking for a loving, caring and homely environment.

If you or a member of your family need that little bit extra help and someone around all the time, then Tudor Lodge BOS is the place to go. Fresh food served in the dining room or if you rather in your own room. A 'country hotel' feel with fantastic, knowledgeable staff. Daily activities, visiting hairdresser etc. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother declared she was home there after three weeks of moving in.
