We often contact BWP to collect from our coach depot in taunton. Same day service, and so easy to deal with. Even asked them to make some custom items for us, which were made to spec within a couple of days. Great work Bridgwater Pallets :)

I worked as a hgv class 1 driver here , was treated well and i have no gripes or complaints, found the management to be welcoming and patient, work side of things is pretty self explanatory , with clear instructions given from management , hours for a class 1 driver took me by surprise if I'm honest and there not many class 1 jobs where the normal working hours are 8 to 5 , being used to at least 12 hour days this was a welcome bonus for me , overall I had a very positive experience working there and only for my circumstances changed I would imagine I would still be there , wising all the staff all the best in the future as they go from strength to strength

Do not be conned by false reviews. Even their office manager put a bogus review on there. They do not give drivers any physical contracts, they hold no probationary meetings, they advertise drivers jobs and simply get rid of any drivers that know more they they do, coupled with the premium payment being the hour the deduct for break even if you take the break at 1pm and work until 7pm ( over your normal 8 hrs) the break is deducted at the higher hourly pay! Send drivers out in storm condition. Dont really care about anything that bothers drivers. Cabs are in dire state, yard staff are rude & swear at drivers. With so many HGV 1 & 2 jobs out there, save yourself the hassle, just go anywhere else. They gave maybe 3-4 drivers and if youre cab is out of serve, told to stay home on 0 pay! Have very little knowledge of Workers rights, employment law or how to plan & run shifts as no qualified planner in the office who has an inkling of planning logistics / geographical knowledge so expect logistics to be all over the place. Exeter, new forest, which they say is local lol Cabs are not always in best condition. There are so many holes in the job offer it makes kerplunk look more fun. Just honest feedback end of the day, if you treat all drivers with contempt, youll get nowhere. Its a cut throat industry with so many jobs out there paying better, avoid avoid avoid. Go somewhere where people actually care! Oh, youll be expected to give your personal number over so you can added to a group where the owners can swear at drivers for something they actually caused in first place. Messages on days/ time off The only good thing about them, are the gates are on the way out. Yeah youll get sunshine shon where it dont shine to get you in. Forced to take holidays when it suits them if not enough work or not paid to stay home. The managers dont own any O license but the person that does isnt involved in any day to day! How bad can it get! Muppets masquerading as managers. Office staff have not heard of dignity at work ( you can look it up in know your rights at work handbook! No staff handbook, no contract on print so join at your own riskTheyll advertise your job if youre a bit smarter then them then say youve failed probation, , even though youve well passed the probation period with no meeting on recod. You couldnt make it up! Joke of an outfit If you just want temporary stop gap work with tolerance to all of the above, then thats your dream job!
