Ive visited a fair few restaurants and bars in London and this beats all of them. Fast friendly service amazing food - People there clearly love what they do and it shows. We were lucky to get a table!

Me and my family were there on Saturday and don't get me wrong, the food was good and the staff were great, but restaurant of the year? A warning to vegetarians , the way the food comes out is in the order of the menu, so all the vegetarian food comes out first then you have to watch everyone else eat their food whilst you have nothing in front of you, the steak was a steak nothing special and for the price you're paying it should be special, the drink snacks, not very vegetarian friendly unless you want just bread, overall it was good, it's just not quite restaurant of the year

Socius has made a name for itself as a high-end restaurant with Michelin guide recommendations, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of our expectations. We were served warm beer, which was not to our liking. Our steak, ordered medium rare, was served on a cold plate, had a rubbery texture, overcooked to medium, that detracted from its flavor. Although we were given a replacement steak and really appreciated that the restaurant, we found that it had the same issue. To make matters worse, the shared dish was not placed in the center of the table, causing my friend to rearrange the table in order for us to enjoy it together. While we did share our concerns with the manager, we were surprised when the wrong waitress came outside to apologise while my friend and I were having a private conversation, which felt unprofessional and even somewhat humiliating. It was clear that the manager had misread the situation and caused us to feel extremely uncomfortable. Overall, we believe that Socius has potential, but needs to reevaluate both its menu and service standards. We hope that they will take our feedback into account and make changes to provide a more polished experience for future diners.

We enjoyed a lovely evening. The food is beautiful, good wines and a stylish experience. We particularly enjoyed the tuna tartare and the hake. The small plates work well for sharing. Just a note about booking; I booked online and ticked the restaurant option but when we arrived we were seated at the wine wall high table. I realised this was a mistake and asked to move. That day Id received a text asking me to confirm my booking. I didnt click confirm as even though the content of the text stated the correct booking time the following field had an incorrect time displayed. I suspect that my booking was confused with someone else; due to arrive half an hour earlier, someone that had booked the wine wall table. The reason I mention this is because I had to work fairly hard to justify my request to move into the restaurant. At first we were seated upstairs with no other diners and no view of the kitchen (a really great addition to the atmosphere). I asked a lovely waiter (Eddie?) if we could move downstairs to the empty tables that we could see and she returned to say not possible. I pursued it further and explained that the incorrect time and the incorrect table suggested it was the restaurants error and had this not occurred we would have originally been seated in the tables in the heart of the restaurant. I felt Eddie understood the predicament and this time she returned with good news. We moved downstairs! We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed at the end of the meal when a senior waiter explained to me that had we wanted a downstairs restaurant table I could have added a note to my booking. This comment suggested the restaurant were not taking responsibility for the mishap after-all. It would have been preferable if the issue had not been re visited if this was the choice of conclusion. Further note: when booking I was taken from the Socius website to the service ResDiary. The options for meal times and table location are black and white.
