Shown to the table, the order was not taken for 20 mins. The order came out completely wrong, no one around to advise of this. Drinks were forgotten. Asked for two orange juices and lemonades three times and then after we finished eating the wrong order two glasses of orange juice and a glass of lemonade came out. Asked why they had not brought out our drinks and was told the bar was busy yet the table that came on after us had everything before us.

We met with friends today at The Old Farmhouse. Lovely greeting and very friendly staff throughout our visit. Huge menu and very good food. Thank you very much, and we would highly recommend.

Extortionate prices for mundane, bland food. Nothing special whatsoever. Ordered two slices of buttered toast and requested no jam or honey. Hillbilly family owners still tried to charge me 4 for two slices of toast! Arguing that the jam was free and included... No. I asked for toast only so why try and charge me for food that I didn't have. Two pots of jam at 60p each were then reluctantly deducted. Let me advise you - there is nothing nice about these so called 'tea rooms', AND, the cutlery was watermarked and the floor was not clean. Try Shappen Cafe next door, with hygiene, decor and prices, all amenable.

Vegetarian options: Good options available with ability to change some to vegan Parking: Plenty of parking around the back
