Tread Lightly Glamping

We stayed at the campsite in October 2021 and had such a lovely weekend. Our tent was beautifully put together and the bed was honestly the comfiest bed we think we've ever slept in. Each tent has a private cabin shower, toilet and kitchen. Some great pubs nearby and in an ideal location to explore the New Forest. Highly recommend.

Our recent stay with Tread Lightly was a revelation. It was our first glamping experience as a family and it was brilliant. We're used to regular camping and this tent was a beauty on a small and quiet site, especially at night when the solar lights and draped twinkly lights came on. The tent was roomy, well equipped both furniture and power-wise, stayed warm and dry when it rained overnight and the centrepiece was the most amazingly comfortable bed. Our son's futon was comfy too and he loved the beanbags to use inside or out as well the firepit. The whole experience was really welcoming and, as a recommendation, we also enjoyed a New Forest Cider tipple and a fantastic lunch in the garden of the Cider Pantry right next door. Loved having our own facilities and not having to share or queue... dedicated composting toilet, hot shower and well equipped kitchen area right outside our tent. Loads of thoughtful touches, picnic blankets, decent size wine glasses, etc. Huge well done to the proprietor, Sam, we'll look forward to returning and seeing what wonders he has in store for 2023!
