We have used Ashleys twice before when moving ( 1998 and 2006) and will be using them again when we move in the next six months.Great family business with patient , helpful staff

Although T&J were very friendly throughout the process, on time, willing to help, my unfortunate siutuation came with the loss of a back pack which contained valuables, including my passports and cash, a bag which should not have been taken and unfortunatley went missing. I reached out to them the following day and were willing to help, however never had any follow-ups after that, or any interest as to whether I have located the missing items. Their only response has been to pass on the responsability to myself when moving the smaller items and that I had lost it. They were contracted to remove big items and during the move was surprised that they had proactively picked up several smaller items/ including backpacks which contained valuables, personal items which were not intended to have been picked up in the first place. I saw they had left them at the very entrance of the van. Surprised to see them there as it was the beginning of the move and would expect to have bigger items taken care of first, and definitely not leave any of my property unattended for anyone to help themselves to. After 2 weeks and no one returning the backpack, I unfortunately have to think that they may have gone missing. I hope this unfortunate situation does not happen to anyone else, as I had been very pleased with the whole process and service putting aside this unfortuante incident Services: Oversized-item moving, Local moving
