Terrible! Doctors ordered Antibiotics for Covid for my husband to collect yesterday the 14th of June as struggling with his chest and sleep. Went to collect on the 14th after a text saying they were ready and they were shut for lunch for 1 and half hours. No one was able to collect again that day so went this morning the 15th and still not ready! Asked when they would be ready and got told dont know. What do they do in this surgery?

I was seen on time (actually a little earlier than my allotted time due to me arriving 30 minutes early). Friendly reception staff. The seating in the waiting room is pretty uncomfortable due to them only having high back type bench seating that runs along the walls. A water dispenser would be a nice addition as I forgot my drink at home. The Doctor I saw was helpful, friendly and actually listened to me. I have seen him before and always try to see him as I've had bad experiences with different Doctors based out of Hawthorne. All in all this was a good experience. As we all know though, my next experience might be days upon days of trying to get an appointment. Although in these times of cut backs and growing patient lists, I have noticed they are trying different approaches depending on your needs. GPs phoning you back. Putting medications straight into your local pharmacy after discussing symptoms with a receptionist (then they pass these onto a Doctor) etc. It's good to see valuable appointment slots not being taken up by issues that can be resolved quickly via telephone. Fingers crossed my next experience will allow me to write a positive review again
