The Tranquil Otter

Have just come back from this beautifully place that I will call a little bit of heaven. My daughter, her friend and,myself visited for my sisters 70th birthday and could not fault anything. Very clean hot tub and accommodation was spotless. Overlooking a beautiful lake and a bonus is you have your own rowing boat to use. Staff are friendly and are there for anything you need. If you are looking for a peaceful break then the tranquil otter is the place for you. Looking forward to returning soon

Stunning location and beautiful lodge with hot tub. We had an amazing and peaceful stay. Only 2 faults was the cold water which was looked at very quickly but it didnt warm up. It started off warm but just got colder every day. Staff did come out quickly to sort it but it just never warmed up. Also a tad disappointed the boat was full of water and we could lift to drain and use. These thing didnt retract much from the incredible place this is. Highly recommended. We will be returning. Wee break at the Tranquil Otter and highly recommend a visit and a stay in the lodges which are well set out and equipited and were nice and warm with central heating and a log burner. we stayed in the 2 bedroom Buzzard lodge which has your own boat to row out on the lake. Even with the cold weather the the views were spectacular and the wildlife in abundance and the duck waddled over the frozen lake for a wee feed. if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing break and watching the birds and wildlife then this place is for you, we will be back as soon as possible.
